Tohono O'odham 원주민 보호구역에 있는 NOAO(National Optical Astronomy Observatory) 산하의 국립천문대. 투산시에서Hwy. 86을 이용하여 남서쪽으로 56마일 가량 가면 되는데, 차로 갈 경우 1시간30분 정도가 소요된다. 별자리 관측, 행성 관찰 등을 통해 태양계 및 은하계의 운행을 연구하는 곳.

매일 10시, 11시30분, 1시30분에 각각 투어가 있다

이용시간
The Visitor Center is open daily from 9am until 3:45pm.
Guided Tours begin at 10am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm.
Admission to the Visitor Center is FREE.
The Kitt Peak Visitor Center is CLOSED: New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
